CookieButter Cupcake

Cookie butter cupcakes, these things were delicious. I mean DELICIOUS. Its a cupcake that tastes like cookie. I made a basic cake follow this recipe    and bake it instead in your cupcake pan for 20 minutes; then I added the most ultimate topping 'cookie butter ' a frosting to the cake. This was amazingly good; Unfortunately, I don't have a recipe yet for the cookie butter but I can tell you where you can buy it here in America. Those of you who are not in America… Sorry : - (   This is cookie butter, it can be found in a store called trader joes here in the U.S but is also known as biscoff spread in some areas of Europe. This is a really good spread to use on cakes, cookies, bread and almost anything else. What I did was pipped it on top of my freshly baked cupcakes and there you go. Simple and yummy. Peanut butter and Jelly cupcakes

Have you ever had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? Its such a customary american snack. Most eat it for breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner. But how about a peanut butter and jelly cupcake? Some peoples first impression of the name was 'Yuck!!! Peanut Butter and Jelly Cupcake' but it is actually really good. This is how its made. Firstly follow my basic cake recipe and then to the batter add in peanut butter and bake as directed. Once that is done get the jam of your choice and inject it in the center by making a tiny hole and filling it with your jam. Here I chose to use strawberry jam but you can use grape or whatever else.  From my kitchen to yours God Bless

Rocomboli or Stuffed Meatloaf

I used Ground turkey meat to make my meatloaf instead of ground beef to be healthier. but It came out amazing and at the same time very presentable cut up into neat slices that showcase all the layers of the meatloaf. This meatloaf was juicy not dry and packed with flavor. I ate so much and still wanted more. A must try for everyone. Here is the recipe. Ingredients ground beef or ground turkey sliced deli ham and turkey cheese seasonings of your choice (salt, pepper, all purpose seasoning, black pepper) How to make it Preheat oven to 350F or 175C. Put your raw meat into a large bowl and lightly add in your seasonings a little at a time ( bearing in mind that cheese naturally has a little salt and oil already. Be careful to not over season) Once you added in all of your seasonings, with your hands mix it all in together until all incorporated To stuff it: Now lay your meat out onto a large surface and flatten it out into a large rectangle. Oreo Cookie Cupcakes

Are you an oreo cookies fan? My brother in law 'Leonardo' is the biggest oreo fan I have ever seen. There is never enough oreos in the world for him. No matter what flavor - double stuffed or not. He loves himself some oreos  : - ) Just the other day I decided to make oreo cookie cupcakes and boy! Oh boy! did they come out delicious. I crushed up some redo and put it in the batter and I made a vanilla icing on top and then topped it off with 1 whole oreo cookie. Really yummy; they tasted just like an oreo cookie cake. Here is how you can make your own. Ingredients: 1 pack oreo cookies 1 cups powdered confectionary sugar 1/2 cup heavy cream 1 tsp clear vanilla extract How to make it: Preheat oven to 350F. Follow my  basic cake recipe  then: Take half of your oreo cookies packet and scrape off the inside (the filling) from all of your cookies and take only the chocolate cookies itself and crumb them up and throw them into your cake batter once you

Orange cupcake

Picture this: An orange flavored cupcake filled with soft milk chocolate and covered with a really good cream cheese frosting; decorated with an orange chocolate leaf on top.This was really, really fun to make and didn't take much time to do at all. You can do the same but flavor your cupcake, filling and frosting however you want. To get your own unique blend of flavors. I absolutely loved mine. Play with your cake flavors, why only try vanilla cake when there are a world of flavors out there. Take this basic cake recipe which I use for almost anything and add vanilla extract to make it vanilla, add chocolate or strawberry powder to make it that flavor or even replace the milk for your pinnacle or orange juice to make it that flavor. To make this orange cake. Follow my basic cake recipe  just DO NOT ADD VANILLA EXTRACT and in the place of the milk add instead 1 cup orange juice. Basic Cake Recipe

This basic cake recipe can be used for almost any cake. You can add to it or take away from it in order to get the flavor you desire. Here is your recipe: It comes out nice and super fluffy. Really an irresistible cake. Ingredients : 1 cup butter 2 cups sugar 4 eggs 2 3/4 cup flour 3 tsp baking powder 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup milk Preheat oven to 350F, in a mixing bowl put in your butter and sugar and mix well until smooth, then add in your eggs and mix again until nice and creamy, add flour and mix, add baking powder and mix again then add in your vanilla and mix and lastly add your milk and mix it well. Honey Citrus Salmon

Quick and easy with very minimal ingredients. Ingredients 2 Boneless Salmon fillet 1/2 tsp Honey 1 Orange 1 Lemon Seasonings (salt, white pepper, garlic powder) Method Simply season your salmon to perfection with a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Once its seasoned, in a frying pan under medium-low heat, pan fry your salmon for 3 minutes on each side. 'Do Not Overcook your salmon or else it will get tough.' Set it aside while you work on your sauce. Take your lemon and your orange, squeeze out as much juice as you can from each of them. Put that juice into a small pot; and cook on medium heat, until it starts to boil. Once boiling take your add in your honey, mix and cook for about 8 minutes until the sauce thickens into a syrup. Ideas on plating the food

Presentation is the key. If you worked hard at making it, then work hard at presenting it to show how hard you actually worked at it. One thing I learned in culinary school is that a person will buy something first with their eyes. Take yourself for instance when you go to a bakery, restaurant or anywhere that serves of sells food. How do you know what you want. In most cases you see it and fall in love with its appearance or how delicious it looks that you end up getting it. You don't know how it tastes yet. But you already love it. Get this by placing your food in the center of the plate and lightly drizzling the sauce & oils all around your food Then you buy it and you either  love it or hate it after you take your first few bites. Sometimes you'll hate it. You think it tastes horrible, nothing compared to how it looked etc. But you bought it. Because of how it looked. take your food and neatly decorate it cater-cornered on your plate, use different colored v

Ideas on setting the table

Sometimes you go through all the hard work of preparing the food but then because you don't know how to properly  set the table you end up having your presentation looking a mess. In this post I am going to teach you different ways that you can actually set your table. To make it look more than amazing. Amazing enough where people don't want to touch it because it looks like a work of art as in these pictures below. After your food is all done and cooked. Be creative with fixing your table. Get some nice flowers, candles or anything you have to decorate and use as a center piece to your table. Look for your best dishes, the nicest ones. The best cups, forks, knives and spoons you have at home. and place it there on the table with love. One thing that really frustrates me is when people forget to put napkins on the table. Everyone needs napkins. I hate sitting to eat and then I need to wipe my mouth and there are no napkins. Ahhhhhh…… so annoying. So make sure you put nap

Neapolitan Cake

Just the other day I made a cake with 3 flavors in the batter. Strawberry, chocolate and vanilla. Boy oh boy was it good, and look how cool it looks with all the swirls. I chose these 3 flavors cause its what I had at home and I thought it would look cool but you can choose whatever colors you want and you can use as many colors as you see fit; and make it a super cool rainbow cake. kkkkk…. just don't mind the hideous florescent blue icing I used kkkk… its all I had at home and I didn't feel like running to the store to get food coloring or anything else. So blue icing it is. The point is that the neapolitan cake was amazingly good blue icing or not : - ) To get this cake all you need to do is make a fresh batch of cake from scratch. Here is one of my basic cake recipes. Then you will separate your cake batter into as many bowls you want ( each bowl will be colored a different color) You will use food coloring/ food dye to color your cake batter each a different color.

how to make the ultimate 'Grits N Eggs'

Every time I eat this, people who are not american look at me like ' what is that' kkkk… it is an ultimate traditional American breakfast. Grits is ground up hominy corn. It is filling, delicious and gives you a great boost of energy and brain strength for the rest of your day. Here is some trivia for you: For those of you who don't know. Americans are really breakfast people we normally eat a heavy breakfast, slightly heavy lunch and a light dinner as to other cultures who eat an extremely light breakfast, heavy lunch and even heavier dinner : - ) But this grits n eggs is one of my favorite breakfast foods. Here is how you can make it. Simply take your grits which looks like small pieces of rice and put 1 cup water to boil. add a pinch of salt to your water. Once your water is boiled add in your 1/2 cup grits and cook for about 7 minutes on medium low heat and your done.
