Cakes

Image
Hi dear blog viewers, today I am showing you how to make your basic cake Pineapple Upside Down Cake This cake was actually done by one of my blog viewers named Amanda from Dallas,TX. Great job Amanda. To make it, is very simple. For instance, this recipe below is your basic vanilla cake recipe.I use this recipe for almost anything. Follow it and just add in these few tips to get this pineapple upside down cake. Instead of milk add 1 cup of pineapple juice. When you butter and flour your cake pan pour about 1/2 cup brown sugar on the bottom of the tray and  put your pineapple circles neatly on top of the brown sugar. Lining up the bottom of the tray. Pour your cake mix on there. Bake as recommended. After it comes out of the oven just add your cherries to each circle after the cake is cooled and is flipped over. For different cakes. All you need to do is substitute your flavor in order to change the taste. For instance with this same recipe you can add in  chocolate powder

All natural fruit shakes. also known as Fruit smoothie. Its quick, simple and tastes different every time. You can choose to add whichever fruits you choose. Every time I have fruit about to spoil I make a fruit shake/smoothie for dinner. Really nice Just take the fruit or fruits of your choice and put it in the blender along with 1/2 cup of whatever fruit juice you like and 1 tsp sugar. Blend together and serve on the spot. Tastes best when served fresh. Enjoy

Just plain ol' yogurt can go a long way. It's inexpensive and has endless options as of what you can do with it. You can cook with it (I've made yogurt creamed lasagna before. Really good. Soon I'll show you how) you can freeze it, you can eat it just as it is and you can add loads of different ingredients to completely alter the taste. Here is what I did as a snack today. I wanted something junky, something for my sweet tooth. So here is what I made. Really good, In a few minutes I am going to do it again, I want seconds... I took vanilla flavored yogurt then scooped a teaspoon full of apricot/pineapple preserves in the center and sprinkled a pinch of granola cereal I had lying around (for an added crunch) Then I put it in the freezer for about 10 minutes to be extra chilled and took it out, added a whole bunch of whipped cream and some diced strawberries on top. You can add whatever you want. This you can completely make your own. You can add

Oh, The joys of waking up to an enjoyable and filling breakfast. Breakfast has evolved : - ) try something new. Next time you cook breakfast try making a stuffed omelette. My omelette (pictured above) is stuffed with turkey bacon, mushrooms, turkey slices and cheese. You can choose to fill it with whatever you want, be creative. You can even season the egg itself, add a few herbs and spices. Do it how you like. To get this omelette: Cook your fillings aside first. For mine what I did was, In a frying pan I fried my bacon, turkey and mushrooms and left it aside. Then,  just take an egg and add a drip of milk to it and a sprinkle of black pepper. Beat it well with a fork until well blended. Take a frying pan and heat it up with a little butter. Once the butter is melted and your pan is hot, take the beaten egg and pour it in the center of you pan; allow to cook for a few minutes on medium low heat until the edges of the egg starts getting browned. Flip your egg over to
