BBQ Chicken

Believe it or not, this is the first time that I have ever made BBQ chicken. I actually got the recipe from a friend, and added a few of my own ideas. It came out really juicy yet had that nice bbq flavor glazed on top as well as penetrated inside the meat. Yummy, I ate it with some rice and corn on a cob. Nice traditional American meal.

Ingredients
Chicken thighs or drumsticks
Seasonings of your choice ( salt, pepper, all purpose seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder)
BBQ sauce

Method
First clean your chicken then season it VERY lightly here are some guidelines for how to season your chicken. Once that is done marinate it in BBQ sauce ( meaning throw a little of your bbq sauce on top of your chicken and rub it in evenly. If possible marinate it overnight and cook it the next morning. This will make the taste even more delicious. But if you are in a rush and don't have time for that. Just marinate it and cook immediately)

Preheat your oven to 325F or 163C and with your chicken in an oven dish bake it for about 45 minutes. Until almost cooked. After cooking for 45 minutes put another layer of bbq sauce on your chicken and rub it in. Continue cooking and after every 15 minutes put another layer of bbq sauce on top rubbing in and allow to continue cooking. The more you put the more sticky and bbq flavor it will have. You can repeat this method about 2 or 3 times. Cooking your chicken for a total of 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes or until it is completely cooked and the sauce is sticky.

Your done, serve with whatever you would like. This tastes good with pasta, mashed potatoes, rice or anything else. Check out some side dishes you could use with this.
