Homemade Pizza in minutes

Heres something practical did you know the the grocery store called 'Whole Foods' sells ready made fresh pizza dough in their pizza department. You can simply take home and create your own pizza in minutes with a fraction of the cost it would be to buy a whole pizza. Their dough costs about $3 and believe me its amazing.

If you are near a whole foods market, don't go through the hassle of making your own dough. Just grab theirs and create your own pizza masterpiece with the sauces and toppings of your choice.

But if you prefer to make your own dough, heres a great recipe to follow 'How to Make Pizza Dough' Ready in minutes.

Total Time: 20 min

Ingredients
1 pack whole foods pizza dough or your homemade dough
1 Jar Tomato sauce (or sauce or your choice)
1 pack shredded mozzarella cheese
Meats of your choice: pepperoni, chicken, sausage
Veg of your choice: mushroom, corn, pepper, onion
1 tsp melted butter

Directions

Preheat your oven to 450F

Stretch the pizza dough carefully by switching it from one hand to the other using your fist and widening the dough as you go along. Keep doing this until your dough is wide enough to place on your pizza tray. (Don't have a round pizza tray don't worry. Look at the picture below, Ive done my pizza in a regular rectangular pyrex. Works the same, except don't stretch your dough as thin.)

One you have your dough on the baking tray, choose what sauce you want to use. Depending on what kind of pizza you are making, you can switch out the tomato sauce for something like ranch, bbq sauce or alfredo sauce. Place your sauce in a small pot and cook on low heat for about 8-10 min or until it starts to simmer, adding about 2-3 tbsp water and a little seasoning to give it some flavor.

Spread enough of your sauce evenly on top of your pizza dough and then add your cheese. Lots and lots of it... on top of the cheese add all of the toppings you choose. Fold the edges of the dough over to create a crust. (If you want to make a stuffed crust just make sure to add some cheese and topping all the way to the edges of your pizza dough before folding the crust over) Brush the crust lightly with your melted butter.

Place in the center rack of your oven for about 12 - 15 min or until your pizza is golden brown.

Remove from oven and allow to cool 2-3 min before slicing 8 ways. Easiest way to get the perfect slices is using a pizza cutter. But a good old knife will do the trick too.

Don't have a round Pizza tray. Use a pyrex and make a rectangular pizza instead
