Red Beans and Rice (Louisiana Style)

Ingredients
1 Andouille Sausage (sliced or diced)
2 cups white rice
6oz kidney beans
1/2 onion diced
1/2 bell pepper diced
seasoning: onion powder, garlic powder, salt and spices(optional)

Separately cook your rice Find great rice recipe here and your beans follow these directions here for great beans Set both aside. In a small pot, cook sausage well on medium high heat until nice and crisp, then add in your onion and bell pepper and sautee it all together. Mix in the sautéed mixture your rice and your beans into a big container and with a wooden spoon softly mix it all together until well distributed. Add seasonings.  Your all set, ready to enjoy.
