Sweet Baby Rays Copycat BBQ Sauce

Make an authentic American style BBQ Sauce. If you are somewhere in the world where you can't find that authentic American BBQ sauce, or if you simple ran out of BBQ sauce at home; and don't have time to run to the store. Make your own in minutes. By simply stirring a few quick ingredients together and bringing to a simmer. Quick and simple, you'll have your homemade sauce in minutes. Here's how:

Ingredients

2  1/2 cup ketchup

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup molasses

4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

2 tbsp mustard

2 tbsp smoked paprika

2 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp salt

2 tsp hot sauce

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp cayenne powder

1/2 cup water

4 tsp cornstarch

Mix all ingredients (Except for cornstarch) into a sauce pan and bring to a light simmer. Once simmering, spoon out a few spoons of the sauce into a small bowl. Add your cornstarch to the bowl. Whisk together carefully until cornstarch is smooth, and completely dissolved into the liquid. Then add this mixture into the pot, continue to simmer for about 5 - 7 minutes. Or until your sauce thickens.

Turn off and allow to cool. Note your sauce will continue to thicken once cooled.

Store in a container or bbq sauce jar and into the refrigerator.

Enjoy alongside your favorite meats, or anywhere where you would enjoy the lovely taste of BBQ sauce.

From my kitchen to yours

God Bless
