Hearty Chicken Soup



Nick named the Soup that will help you go. This soup is full of green vegetables and will help you have a flowing digestive system. Really delicious and filling and excellent for a light launch or dinner. Minimal work all you are doing is putting everything in a pot and letting it cook while you do other things

Hearty Chicken Soup

Ingredients
1 bag lentils
4 stalks of collard greens or a big bag of already cut collard greens
chicken breast or thighs pre cooked
1 butternut squash or sweet potato
1 cup broccoli
1/2 cup peas
seasonings: onion powder, garlic powder, lawyers, salt, pepper to taste

Directions
Rinse your lentils and put it into a big pot filled to the top with water. Add in your collard greens and pre cooked chicken and cook on medium high heat for about 45 minutes to an hour. Leave it on medium high heat and stir every 15 minutes more or less.

Add in your butternut squash or sweet potato and cook for another 15 minutes, add in your seasonings of choice, broccoli and peas and cook for about 5-10 more minutes.

Serve warm with crackers or toast. Really delicious and great for those cold days.
