Tiramisu

Have you ever tasted Tiramisu? It is an Italian coffee dessert, Those who enjoy coffee will really like this one. I for one do not like coffee AT ALL. I hate it. Don't like the smell, the taste, the nothing... But yet and still I love this recipe of Tiramisu because it has a Chocolatey flavor with a hint of coffee. There is no overpowering coffee taste. But the coffee flavor is definitely noticeable.

Ingredients

2 packs of lady finger hard cookies
3 eggs
3 tbsp sour cream
1 pack cream cheese
2 cups heavy cream
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup already made fresh brewed coffee
1/2 cup warm milk

Make your regular cup of coffee as you regularly do, and set it aside.

Separate your 3 eggs, yolk from whites. Take your whites and beat them well with an electronic mixer or whisk until light and fluffy. More or less 10 minutes.

Then in a separate mixing bowl combine half of your sugar and heavy cream and beat well until also light and fluffy.

In yet another bowl with your electronic mixer beat together your cream cheese, the rest of your sugar, sour cream and egg yolks together until smooth. Now add in and mix in lightly by hand your egg and heavy cream fluffy mixtures. combine them altogether.

Now get your coffee, milk and 3/4 cup of your cocoa powder and mix it together. Take your Lady Finger cookies and dip them quickly one at a time into your cocoa, coffee mix and line them in an even row on the bottom of your pyrex where you will be placing your dessert. Once you've completely covered the bottom with one layer of your wet cookies, make another layer on top with your cream. Then once again repeat by adding another layer of wet cookies and the last layer of cream on top.

Take the remainder of your cocoa and lightly sprinkle it on top of your cream. Refrigerate for a few hours. Best if refrigerated overnight. Serve chilled and enjoy : - )
