Making Veggies Edible

Have you ever had a problem with yourself or family members eating vegetables...
That is often a big problem, vegetables are really good for you to eat but at the same time sometimes they are either tasteless or not as delicious as lets say a burger or cheesecake for instance but never the less it is something that your body needs and something that can really be made to taste yummy.

Take a look at these yummy vegetable ideas to make yummy meals.

Portabella Mushroom burger

Done the same way you would a hamburger but instead of using actual ground beef  to make your burger you  use Portabella mushroom which is nothing but a huge mushroom you would fry your Portabella Mushroom in oil and season it with salt, pepper, all purpose seasonings etc. and set up your burger buns, lettuce, tomatoe, cheese, sauces and anything else. This is a great vegetarian substitution for hamburgers and its taste is really similar.
Eggplant Parmesan

Done the same way you would chicken parmesan this is a great vegetarian substitution to Chicken parmesan which tastes very similar even for those who hate the taste of eggplant as I do. But this really hides the taste and is really tasty. You take your eggplant vegetable cut them into round slices then dip them in egg wash then in bread crumbs to bread it. Then you fry it lightly in oil until well browned then drizzle a little cheese on it and spoon a bit of tomato sauce on top. Bake it in the oven under 350F for about 10 minutes or until the cheese on top is melted.
Broccoli and Cauliflower Au Gratin

Done by taking your cauliflower and broccoli and putting them into a pyrex then put a bit of heavy cream on top of it. Drizzle a few sprinkles of cheese and then drizzle some breadcrumbs on top. Bake in the oven for about 45 min to 1 hour or until the cauliflower and broccoli is soft and the sauce has thickened.

Grilled Veggies

Done by simply taking the vegetable of your choices and grilling it with no butter or oils. add some salt, pepper and seasonings of your choice and your done. Is also very yummy if your were to sautee it in a bit of butter. It adds to it a really nice flavor.

So as you can see there are many ways to prepare your vegetables so that you and your family can enjoy besides the old fashioned just boiling or steaming them. Spruce it up and make it into a way that you will enjoy as you start to eat them this way; your taste buds will start getting accustomed to it and then sooner or later you will actually start experimenting with all sorts of vegetables and actually start liking it.

I really like vegetables now but there was a time that I hated it. I actually enjoy eating my veggies now. Just today I ate a big plate full of sautéed green beans in butter and garlic it was actually really yummy.
