Homemade Dulce De Leche
Have you ever tasted Dulce De Leche? For those who haven't it is an extremely delectable type of caramel.
Have you ever tasted the Haagen Daz 'Dulce de Leche' ice -cream. (MMMM... My personal favorite)
Anyway. Make Dulce De Leche at home. Quick and I am sure easier than you would have thought. There is only 2 steps to making it. and all you need is a can of condensed milk.
Put your entire Unopened can of condensed milk in a pressure pot filled 3/4 of the way with water. Completely close it. (Double checking that it is properly closed) and place it on the stove and cook on high for about 20 minutes once the pressure starts.
(If you don't have a pressure pot. No problem just put it in a regular pot with water filled about 3/4 the way add a lid and cook it on high for about 1 hour)
Once that is done (If you used a pressure pot make sure to run the pot under cold water for about 5 minutes and MAKE SURE all the pressured steam is out before you open the pot) Either way you cooked it. Make sure you carefully remove the can from the water because the can will be extremely hot. Let it cool for about 5 minutes and then open it.
There you go, your 'Dulce De Leche' is ready to be devoured

1 - put your entire unopened can into a pot with water
2 - Cook on high for about 20 min. (in pressure pot) or 1 hour (in regular pot)
